The NHL is planning to broadcast its Stanley Cup Finals on television with NHL NOW, a free streaming service that streams games in the U.S. on a wide range of platforms.
The Stanley Cup finals will be the first time that the NHL will be streaming its Stanley Cups online since the 2010-11 season, which ended with a win for the New York Rangers over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The service is available on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV devices.
The NHL, which is owned by Rogers, also plans to stream the Stanley Cup Playoffs on its mobile app for Android and Apple TV.
The NBA has already added Stanley Cup coverage on its NBA TV app, but it’s still a little early for the NHL.
The league announced on Tuesday that it will debut live broadcasts of the Stanley Bowl on March 8.
That’s the same day as the NHL Finals, which will be shown on NBC and ESPN.
The game will be streamed on NHL NOW on any mobile device with an Android or Apple TV device running Android 5.0 or later.
The NHL also announced it will also stream the NHL Playoffs live on NBCSN, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
The live streaming of the Finals will be available on the NHL NOW app on iOS devices.
The Stanley Cup will be televised in HD for the first and only time on NBC Sports Live Extra on March 7.
The first broadcast of the NHL playoffs will be on the NBCSN app on March 5.
